Don't Touch The Purple Monkey
"Don't Touch The Purple Monkey", is a five-minute short film completed in an 11 week period for the final project of a "Team Animation" class. From conception through final output, our five man team, under the casual advise of our instructor, frantically drew, modeled, and animated to complete our Horror / Dark Comedy. A fun, but spooky tale; it pays homage to many classic Sci-Fi / Horror movies with an unexpected twist. Suspenseful yet fun for all ages!
I was involved in the many stages of the film including conceptualization, modeling, texture work, over all scene lighting, and both object and camera animation; and some of the editing. While the film has 2D elements completed by my team mates, my parts were mainly 3D, accomplished using Maya, Photoshop, and After Effects primarily.
